Early intervention and individual skill development in the early years can greatly influence a child's overall well-being. In the realm of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the emphasis is on enhancing life quality through meaningful skill development. Who is this service for?
This service is for caregivers and children living in the Kingston and surrounding area who are able to travel to the clinic to receive services.

What to expect
To begin services the caregiver and Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) will meet to discuss goals, funding and determine the most appropriate number of service hours (e.g., from 1.5 hours/wk. to 20 hours/wk.). Following this, an assessment will be completed at the clinic. Caregivers and the clinical team will work together to choose goals that will be meaningful and align with the family's values. Individual teaching sessions will be conducted by a Behaviour Therapist. All Behaviour Therapists will receive supervision by a R.B.A. (Ont.), and caregivers will be involved by helping transfer learned skills from the clinic to the home.
