Who is this service for?

This service is for caregivers and children living in the Belleville, Kingston, Gananoque, Brockville and surrounding area. It is meant to help caregivers evaluate their child's skill levels across various developmental domains such as communication, pre-academic, social skills, play and daily living skills. It’s for caregivers who are wondering where to start when it comes to building skills as well as identify any potential areas of concern & guidance on how to address them.

What to expect

Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) provide this service. The assessment process begins with an interview with the child's caregivers, followed by an observation of the child in their usual environment and direct skill testing in a clinic. The assessment is customized to each child, incorporating preferred toys and activities to create a supportive experience. After the assessment, a report with skill development suggestions will be provided to caregivers, who can also opt for brief consultations to further aid their child's development.
